This is just ridiculous. NO. Letting a potential ally get mass graved so we can fight in the next country without them is brilliant. Jesus. Oh wait, you think they'll stop where they say they will? Weren't they done after they annexed Crimea? Going full Chamberlain is a great plan. It stopped WWII from happening, right? Should we give them France now, or wait until they ask? Russia is fully in the business in fabricating casus belli, so valid reasons are no longer required, and that juggernaut of professionalism and carrot gifting that is Lukashenko made a video where there were plans on a white board behind him that appeared to be deployment plans for Transnistria. Thank god Russia doesn't actually invade places.

I don't think so. The U.S. Government has continually promised to support Ukraine until the end. I believe them. Ukraine's victory over Russia is very important to the U.S.. Rather or not the west will ever abandon you (Ukraine), no one really knows for sure. But I do know this for sure, God will never leave you! “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you” (Deuteronomy 31:6).

@ThoughtLife.God, No, Ukraine and it's people are cannon fodder to the U.S. they want to keep this war going as long as possible to try to hurt Russia in any and every way possible. They want to fight to the last Ukranian and they will do anything they can to scuttle any peace negotiations.
Success or failure in the Bakhmut will be defined by the percentage of highly specialised and experienced Wagner Veterans neutralised. At the moment they still seem to be a key enabling factor for Russian successes in urban warfare.
No but at some point this has to end modern warfare is to costly and unsustainable dangerous and insane. Let's hope the Ukraine can kick some ass quickly.
I don't believe that the fall of Bakhmut will dramatically affect Western support one way or the other.
However, it is imperative that Ukraine show progress that justifies the money flowing into the Countries. The question is; How, in real terms, is the economy, political structure, and Armed force becoming more capable of supporting Western values.
Reform is a gradual process. I do believe that reinstituting taxes, which are willing paid by everyone from the wealthiest to the local auto mechanics who are currently working under the counter, would show that citizens trust their institutions enough to contribute to the common good.
@dave, THERE SEEMS AN UNREALISTIC CONCENSIOUS ABOUT UKRAINE. THE COUNTRY IS THE MOST CORRUPT COUNTRY IN EUROPE. BILLIONS OF US AND EU AID have been STOLEN BY MANY POLITICIANS IN KIEV. RUSSIA WILL NOT LOSE AND EACH DAY NATO GETS CLOSER TO WW111. much of the AID THAT IS BEING SENT VIA RED CROSS IS BEING STOLEN AND SOLD TO STORES ALL OVER UKRAINE by the mafia AND SOLD TO PEOPLE FOR HIGH PRICES THAT THEY CAN AFFORD. 50% of the population are not working, the farmers cannot plant fields due to all the destruction. The country is nearly destroyed. ZELENSKY IS TOTALY unrealistic about regaining all the territory.
OVER 100,000 UKRAINE MEN ALREADY DEAD WITH thousands in all the hospitals. POLICE commandeer men off streets and take them to fight against their will. IN ODESSA police holding hundreds of men that do not want to fight.
MANY MAYORS LIVE a good life and take bribes so men can get out of Ukraine.
USA military machine and companies are making BILLIONS OF OUR TAXPAYER MONEY. WAR MUST END ...........
