Vladislav Surkov, the advisor to Russian president Vladimir Putin and the curator of Russia-backed separatists in Ukraine, may soon leave the office. Sources in the presidential administration reported that as quoted by Kommersant.
Mikhail Babich, the current presidential envoy in Volga federal district, is the most likely candidate to replace Surkov by the end of this week, the interlocutor said.
