United States on the Syrian settlement is still alive, though the situation is very serious, Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vitaly Churkin said.

“I do not think so,” he told journalists on Sunday, asked whether the negotiating process between Russia and the U.S. can be considered ‘dead’.

“But this is an extremely difficult situation,” Churkin also said.
