The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is not planning to resume investments in Russian projects in 2017.

“They are not planned. They adopted a financial plan, our projects are not in it,” Deputy Finance Minister Sergei Storchak told journalists, answering a question about whether EBRD was planning to invest in Russian projects.

EBRD halted investments in Russian projects in July 2014 after the implementation of sanctions against Russia by the European Union and the United States. The bank is not selling its assets in Russia.
