Boris Karpichkov, 59, who fled to the UK in 1998, described an assassination technique identical to the one believed to have been used to target double agent Sergei Skripal in Salisbury.

Mr Skripal and his daguhter Yulia were poisoned in March by nerve agent Novichok, left by Russian agents.
