According to the exit polls conducted by the Public Opinion Foundation (FOM), the United Russia party is leading in the elections to the seventh-term State Duma.
“According to the poll findings, United Russia is getting into the seventh-term State Duma of the Russian parliament with 48.7% of votes, the Communist Party with 16.3% of votes, the Liberal Democratic Party mustered 14.2% of votes, and A Just Russia with 7.6% votes,” a newsreader said on the Channel One television.
Meanwhile, the parties not represented in parliament failed to pass the 5% threshold and are not getting seats in Duma, according to the FOM polls.
According to the exit polls, the Yabloko party has mustered 3.1% of votes, the Pensioners’ Party 1.9%, Rodina 1.8%, the Communists of Russia 1.5%, the Party of Growth 1.4%, PARNAS 1%, the Greens 0.7%, Patriots of Russia 0.6%, Civil Platform 0.2%, Civil Force 0.1%, he said.
