You're reading: Kremlin aide says still no clarity about Normandy format summit date

GOA, India – A date for holding a Normandy format meeting dealing with the settlement of the conflict in eastern Ukraine has still not been agreed upon, and experts did not have enough time to prepare the meeting between the four leaders, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov told Interfax.

“The issue (of the date) has not yet been finally agreed upon. It’s obvious that the Germans should come up with an initiative, because they had earlier invited (the summit participants),” Ushakov said.

“It’s still unclear what should be discussed and what can be a result of this meeting, there is no clarity about this,” he said.

“The experts didn’t have enough time for preparations,” he said.
