Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held a meeting with United States National Security Advisor John Bolton, who is on a working visit to Moscow, on October 22.

“The interlocutors exchanged views on topical international issues, including the situation surrounding Syria and in Afghanistan, the situation in Ukraine and on the Korean Peninsula,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

“The prospects of interaction between our countries, including in the interests of settling regional conflicts, effective fight against terrorism, and the maintenance of strategic stability were discussed,” the statement reads.
