The Russian president’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov has confirmed that Vladimir Putin had a brief chat with United States President Donald Trump during the G20 summit in Buenos Aires.
“Yes, there was a brief contact,” Peskov told journalists on Dec. 1.
Asked whether Putin had talked to British Prime Minister Theresa May on the summit’s sidelines Peskov said: “I am not aware of it.”
He suggested that journalists should ask these questions during the Russian president’s press conference.
