Politico: Russia urges Theresa May to drop World Cup boycott

Russia called on Theresa May to drop her World Cup boycott now that the England team is one step closer to the final.

The British government and the royal family announced that they were boycotting the event after the poisoning of Russian former spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter in March. The U.K. blames Moscow for the attack, an allegation that Russia denies.
