Prosecutors have requested prison terms from 17 to 23 years to accomplices in the murder of opposition politician Boris Nemtsov, an Interfax correspondent reported.

Prosecutors are seeking 23 years in prison for Anzor Gubashev, 21 years for Shadid Gubashev, 19 years for Temirlan Eskerkhanov, 17 years for Khamzat Bakhayev, prosecutor Maria Semenenko said on July 12 during oral arguments at the Moscow District Military Court, where legal consequences of the earlier grand jury verdict are being discussed.
