HAMBURG – Economic ties between Russia and France have intensified and goods turnover has increased, Russian President Vladimir Putin said, adding that he hopes the Russian-French Council for economic, financial, and industrial cooperation will work.
“We expect the active work of the Council for economic, financial, and industrial cooperation,” he said at a meeting with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron.
“Despite all difficulties, our economic ties are intensifying and goods turnover is increasing,” he said.
The work on preparing and setting up a public forum is also underway, he said.
All agreements, which were reached between him and Macron during his recent visit to France, are being implemented, he said.
