RFE/RL: Grenade thrown at Russian consulate in Greece; no injuries reported

Greek police experts search the area outside the Russian consulate in Athens on March 22, 2019. A grenade was thrown early on March 22 into the courtyard of the Russian consulate in Athens, an attack typical of domestic far-left groups, according to the police. The area in the Athens suburb of Halandri was rapidly cordoned off and bomb specialists were dispatched, a police source said.
