The Russian Black Sea Fleet’s Liman vessel has sunk after being holed, and all its crewmembers are alive, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
“The vessel Liman sank after having been holed below the waterline,” the ministry said.
“All crewmembers of the Black Sea Fleet’s Liman research vessel are safe and sound and are currently being prepared to be evacuated from a Turkish rescue vessel to a Russian ship,” it said.
