The European Union has not done its part of the work in order to be able jointly with Russia to take stoke of bilateral relations, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the EU Vladimir Chizhov said in an interview with Interfax.

“The parallel stage (of stoke-taking) was supposed to lead us exactly to the joint stage. And now, we have covered our part of the path at the parallel stage, but the European Union hasn’t. Consequently, in short, it is clearly premature to speak about a transition to the joint stage,” the high-ranking Russian diplomat said.
