MOSCOW – Russian television personality Kseniya Sobchak, who has announced her intention to run for president in 2018, said that the Prosecutor General’s Office is inquiring into her statements regarding Crimea.

“A check by the Prosecutor General’s Office is already underway, they’re inquiring into my statements on Crimea, we received an official letter,” Sobchak told the radio station Ekho Moskvy.

Sobchak said earlier that Crimea belongs to Ukraine according to international law.
