KHARKIV – Ukrainian border guards have detained a 28-year-old Russian citizen for illegally crossing the state border near the settlement of Hatysche, Kharkiv region.
According to the press service of the Eastern regional department of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the man was noticed when he was still in the territory of the Russian Federation and was moving towards the border, but detained in the territory of Ukraine.
“As it turned out, the man tried to illegally cross the state border in connection with the ban on him to enter the territory of Ukraine,” the message says.
The border guards drafted a report on the administrative offense on the detainee. His future fate will be decided by the court.
