You're reading: UNIAN: Russian court fines Telegram LLP for refusing to disclose user data to FSB

The magistrates’ court of the 383 Meshchansky District of Moscow has imposed a fine of  800 000 rubles (some $14,000) on the developers of the Telegram messenger for defying the request by the Federal Security Service (FSB) to provide decryption keys to user messages, an UNIAN correspondent in Russia reports.
