Xinhua: Russia, Pakistan to strengthen cooperation

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Pakistani counterpart Khawaja Muhammad Asif on May 1 agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation in counterterrorism, economic, trade and other fields.

The ministers exchanged messages on May 1 marking the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Russia-Pakistan diplomatic relations, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
