Battles are ongoing in several directions on Donetsk axis, according to the latest report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06:00, August 19, posted on Facebook.
There are no changes in Volyn, Polissya, and Siversky directions. The enemy shelled the village of Pavlivka, Sumy region, with artillery.
In Kharkiv direction, the enemy opened fire from tanks, tube and rocket artillery on the areas of Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, Zolochiv, Protopopivka, Sosnivka, Korobochkyne, Shestakove, Milova, Duvanka, Husarivka, and Prudianka localities.
The invaders launched strikes from aircraft and helicopters near Yavirske, Staryi Saltiv, Lebyazhe, and Zalyman.
In Slovyansk direction, the enemy opened fire from artillery near Dibrivne, Dovhenke, Virnopillia, Sulyhivka, Chepil, Mazanivka, and Bohorodychne.
The enemy tried to assault the directions of Barabashivka – Karnaukhivka, Sulyhivka – Dibrivne, Sulyhivka – Nova Dmytrivka.
In Kramatorsk direction, shelling was recorded near Siversk, Rozdolivka, Hryhorivka, Sydorove, and Pryshyb.
In Bakhmut direction, the enemy opened fire from tanks, tube and rocket artillery on the areas of Bakhmut, Soledar, Berestove, Vesele, Zaitseve, Yakovlivka, Kodema, Spirne, Ivano-Daryivka, Bilohorivka, and Zalizne localities. The occupiers struck Soledar area with attack aircraft.
The enemy went on offensives in the directions of Spirne – Vyimka, Striapivka – Soledar, Volodymyrivka – Soledar, Klynove – Bakhmut, Vershyna – Kodema. The enemy’s units were not successful in the indicated directions and retreated.

Battles continue in Pokrovske – Bakhmutske direction.
In Avdiivka direction, artillery shelling was recorded near Avdiivka, Marinka, Krasnohorivka, Pisky, Opytne, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Novobakhmutivka, and Netaylove. The enemy launched airstrikes near Marinka, Novomykhailivka, and Pavlivka.
The invaders assault the direction of Lozove – Pervomaiske, hostilities continue.
In Novopavlivsk direction, the areas of Pavlivka, Volodymyrivka, Velyka Novosilka, Vuhledar, Novomykhailivka, Prechystivka and Zolota Nyva localities came under fire.
In Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy used tanks and artillery near Shevchenko, Charivne, Preobrazhenka, Zaliznychne, Huliaypole, Novosilka, Stepove, Vremivka, and Dorozhnianka.
In Southern Buh direction, the enemy continued shelling the Ukrainian positions from tanks, tube and rocket artillery along the contact line, launched an airstrike in the area of Mykolaivske.
In the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, three Kalibr sea-launched cruise missile carriers are on alert.
