The Union of European Football Associations or UEFA has started selling tickets for the Champions League final match, which will be held on May 26 in Kyiv.

An announcement of the start of ticket sales appeared on UEFA’s official website on March 15.

People can apply for tickets online until March 22. Prices start at 70 euros.

UEFA’s Executive Committee selected Kyiv’s Olimpiyskyi Stadium to host the match in September 2017. This is the first European cup final to be held in Ukraine.

The match tickets will not be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis – if demand exceeds supply, UEFA will conduct a lottery to allocate tickets.

The tickets are divided into four categories in terms of seat location in the stadium: lower and upper levels behind the goals, the middle levels behind the goals, corner sectors, and central sectors. Tickets cost 70, 160, 320 and 450 euros for these areas respectively.

UEFA also offers hospitality packages that include access to a lounge located inside the stadium, food and drinks catering before and after the match, a parking pass and entertainment. The hospitality packages cost from 3,200 to 4,500 euros.

To apply for tickets, users have to create a profile on UEFA’s website and fill out a form, including their postal address, as well as passport and payment card information.

Applicants have to be at least 18 years old to purchase tickets. They can apply for up to two tickets per person and they will receive notifications via email on the result of the lottery by April 6.

The tickets will be delivered to all purchasers by courier by the beginning of May.

UEFA has posted a guide to Kyiv’s sights, Ukrainian cuisine and culture and the country’s achievements in football.
