MINSK – Representatives of ice hockey federations from different countries will gather in Minsk on Jan. 5 to discuss the possibility of creating a common professional ice hockey league of the Baltic-Black-Sea region, the Belarus Ice Hockey Association (BIHA) reported.

“Shortly after noon on Saturday, BIHA members and their counterparts from Latvia, Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, and Estonia, who are guests of the Christmas tournament these days, will gather to discuss this idea,” BIHA’s press service said.

The meeting of the heads of the federations will take place as part of the International Christmas Tournament for the prizes of the President of Belarus, which is taking place in Minsk these days.
