Ukrainian tennis player Lesia Tsurenko has reached the fourth round at the United States Open Tennis Championships, defeating the Czech Republic’s Katerina Siniakova on Sept. 1.

Tsurenko, 29, beat Siniakova with a score of 6-4, 6-0. The match lasted 66 minutes.

Tsurenko is currently 36th in the Women’s Tennis Association ranking.

The first set started poorly for the Ukrainian, who trailed 1-4. But she didn’t give up and raised the score to 4-4. In the end, Tsurenko easily won the first set with a score of 6-4.

The second set was the fastest for Tsurenko in the tournament: she took six games in a row. Thus, she emerged victorious in the match, winning 13 games in a row.

Tsurenko will participate in the fourth round at the U.S. Open for the second time in her career. She will face the Czech Republic’s Marketa Vondrousova.
