The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) will allocate 1 million euro to the Crimean Football Federation, which is part of the Football Federation of Ukraine (FFU), and another 1 million euro as humanitarian assistance for children who are engaged in football in the occupied Crimea, FFU President Andriy Pavelko has said.

“The matter of the development of football in Crimea cannot be considered one-sidedly, because our children live in Crimea, our young players, and I am confident that soon the occupation of the Crimea will end, the invaders will leave Crimea, and our young players should not lose this time,” Pavelko said at a meeting with journalists in Kyiv on March 27.

He noted that during meetings with representatives of UEFA, it was decided to allocate 1 million euro to the Crimean Football Federation, which is par of the FFU, and 1 million euro worth of football uniform and equipment for young footballers in the occupied peninsula.
