Ukrainian football star Andriy Yarmolenko, 28, is leaving the German Borussia Dortmund football club and moving to the British club West Ham United.

West Ham announced the transfer on its official Twitter account on July 11.

“Of course, I’m very happy to sign for West Ham United,” Yarmolenko said in a statement published by West Ham. “West Ham is a big club with good fans and I am happy to come to play in the Premier League.”

Yarmolenko, who also plays for the Ukrainian national football team, signed a four-year contract with West Ham. He became the seventh Ukrainian footballer, who will play in English Premier League.

The exact price of the transfer is unknown, but previously the football media reported that the British club was ready to pay about 20 million euros for Yarmolenko.
