UkrInform: WBC Convention opens in Kyiv

The 56th Convention of the World Boxing Council (WBC) officially opened in Kyiv on October 1 and will last until October 5, Ukrinform reports.

The World Boxing Council (WBC) is one of the three major professional boxing organizations. The WBC Convention is a prestigious boxing forum that attracts leading athletes, coaches, referees, promoters, media representatives. Ukraine is hosting such a large-scale event for the first time. More than 700 participants from 160 countries arrived for the Convention.
