The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has launched a mobile application for the All-Ukrainian School Online platform, the ministry’s press service reports.
“The platform All-Ukrainian School Online is now available as a mobile application. Schoolchildren of grades 5-11, for whom the content of the project is designed, will be able to study in a convenient format. As, according to the results of a study by the State Service for the Quality of Education, 89.3% of students use smartphones for distance learning,” the report says.
It is said that the application is already available for the Android operating system, which more than 80% of platform users have. It can be downloaded from Google’s Play Market and Huawei’s AppGallery. Also, the app will soon be released for iOS users.
The ministry says that the All-Ukrainian School Online app is a full-fledged tool for convenient learning from mobile devices, aimed primarily at schoolchildren. It provides access to all courses and materials posted on the platform. Also, students can participate in discussions and communicate with their classmates. The application’s capabilities will gradually expand.
