Men who might be too shy or busy to make the first step and chat with a woman they like on a social network can now use Ukrainian dating app Likeapp to automate the wooing process.
Designed by a team from Dnipro, the application will help you “find a girl you like and invite her for a cup of coffee” via VKontakte, the largest social network in the CIS.
“The app aims to help you stand out from the rest and make a girl want to talk to you, remember you and, if you are lucky enough, go out with you,” says Denys Bilozor, Likeapp’s founder, on his Facebook page.
How does it work? Using your account, Likeapp “automatically and periodically ‘likes’ photos taken by a potential girlfriend, makes comments about them, and sends her nice messages.”
The algorithm selects the best matches by analyzing numbers of friends and followers, photos, posts and likes, and other parameters. It is configured to avoid those who are engaged, married or have a fake profile.
All the user has to do is choose the most attractive ladies and a strategy to approach them.
According to Ukrainian tech blog AIN.UA, nearly three million VKontakte profiles of Ukrainian girls have been analyzed, while the app has attracted some 200 users so far.
The app has free and paid options, with the paid service costing up to $25 per month.
