You're reading: Over 1.59 million internally displaced persons from Crimea, Donbas registered in Ukraine

Some 1,592,982 internally displaced persons (IDPs) or 1,285,506 families from Russian-occupied Donbas and Crimea were registered in Ukraine as of Sept. 25, the Ukrainian Social Policy Ministry has said.

According to the ministry, citing data from regional and Kyiv city state administrations, over Hr 2.143 billion had been spent on social aid paid to IDPs as of Sept. 25.

As reported, there were 1,586,145 IDPs registered in Ukraine as of August 28.
