The number of Ukrainian tourists visited Turkey in 2016 exceeded 1 million, Ukrainian Ambassador to Turkey Andriy Sybiha said.
“The number of Ukrainian tourists visited Turkey is growing from year to year. Last year a record was broken: the number of Ukrainian tourists exceeded 1 million. Now we are fifth among the countries which citizens visit Turkey,” Sybiha said at a press conference in Kyiv on Jan. 18.
The diplomat said that the state of emergency declared in Turkey. Ukrainians should be careful and follow regular recommendations of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine.
