Russia-led mercenaries violated the ceasefire regime seven times, including using weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements in Donbas over the past day, the Ukrainian military reported. One Ukrainian soldier was killed, and another four were injured as a result of shelling attacks.
In the Skhid sector, six shelling attacks were recorded. In particular, in the area of Shyrokyne, Russia-backed separatists opened fire four times – from 82 mm mortars, as well as from grenade launchers of various systems and small arms.
Ukrainian positions near Zaitseve were under attacks from a grenade launcher. Near Lebedynske, they also used 82 mm caliber mortars, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms.
In the Pivnich sector, the positions of the Ukrainian army in Luhanske came under attack. Russia-led forces opened fire from heavy machine guns and small arms.
