One Ukrainian serviceman was killed in the Donbas conflict area on Tuesday morning, despite the “bread ceasefire” that has been in effect since July 1, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said.
The enemy opened targeted fire in the zone of the Joint Forces Operation in Donbas twice starting at midnight, it said.
The militants used grenade launchers and small arms to attack Ukrainian positions in Zolote and Hnutove, the ministry said.
“One our serviceman, born in 1978, died in the hostilities at about 8:00 a.m.,” it said.
