You're reading: 1 Ukrainian soldier wounded amid 7 attacks in Donbas

The illegal armed formations have violated the ceasefire regime in Donbas seven times on Feb. 19, one Ukrainian soldier was wounded, according to the press service of the headquarters of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO).

Russia-backed separatists used 120mm and 82mm mortars, which are prohibited by the Minsk Agreements, as well as grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns and small arms. Sniper activities also were registered.

The illegal armed formations mounted five attacks in the area of responsibility of the Skhid (East) task force near Maryinka, Lebedynske, Slavne, Vasylivka and Shyrokyne.

Two attacks were mounted in the area of responsibility of the Pivnich (North) task force near Luhanske and Orikhove.
