The situation in the Donbas conflict zone remained tense on September 30, but is controlled by the Ukrainian soldiers, the Ukrainian Army HQ reports.
Donetsk sector was the hot spot. After 6 pm, the Russia-backed militants used grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms to attack Ukrainian soldiers in Avdiivka. Ukrainian strongholds near Butivka mine, Nevelske, and Mayorsk were attacked with heavy machine guns and small arms.
