3,224 prisoners were released from the occupied territories of Donbas by the Ukrainian special services from the beginning of the Donbas Conflict. Vasyl Hrytsak, the SBU Head reported this at the briefing as 112 Ukraine broadcasted.

“The Joint center of search coordination of illegally detained persons, hostages and determination of the location of disappeared in Donbas Conflict zone was created and work as the SBU center since 2014. In the result of the detailed work of the center’s workers, volunteers, soldiers, prosecutor’s office and other departments, we succeeded to return and find 3,224 prisoners,” he said.
