At present, nine Ukrainian battalions are already compatible with the troops of NATO countries. This was stated in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine, by the chief of the General Staff of Ukrainian Armed Forces Victor Muzhenko.
“Preparation of battalions which began in 2015, is continuing with the help of foreign specialists. Today in Ukraine there are instructors and military personnel from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland … And we have today reached the appropriate compatibility at least for those nine battalions that have already been trained, “he said.
