The ceasefire agreed by the Trilateral Contact Group, which settles the situation in Ukraine has taken effect on March 5 midnight. This is mentioned in the report of the Minsk talks group (Ukraine-OSCE-Russia), spread by OSCE Special Representative Martin Sajdik.
‘The Group, which also includes representatives of separate areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions underlines the importance of peace and tranquility of the population in the eastern Ukraine conflict area’ the statement reads.
