Ukraine’s ministry of culture stands for the creation of regional authorities for Roma affairs in the areas with considerable Roma communities residing there. Andriy Yurash, the Director for Department for Religions and Nationalities said that at a roundtable meeting in Kyiv.
According to Interfax news agency, the official specified that the small divisions are supposed to ‘handle the matters systematically’ within the respective regional state administrations.
