The decision of the Constitutional Court regarding Kolesnychenko-Kivalov language law allows the Verkhovna Rada to adopt a new law on language. This was said by Parliament Speaker Andrei Parubiy at the beginning of the morning session of the Verkhovna Rada on air of Rada TV channel.
Parubiy congratulated everyone on this decision of the court. He stressed that the language issue is regulated by the Constitution of Ukraine and according to its article 10 the state language in Ukraine is Ukrainian.
