‘The tactical situation of the defenses in the area of Horlivka somewhat improved. The well-planned and prepared actions of the reconnaissance of the 24th brigade allowed them to provide safety for the civilians in Pivdenne (Chygyri). A group of Russia-backed separatists was spotted in the area in early April. They were checking if the locals were loyal to the Ukrainian government, showing their presence there,’ reads the message.
