The Obolon District Court of Kyiv canceled the questioning of the witnesses and proceeded to the debates on the state treason case of the former president Viktor Yanukovych. Presiding judge Vladyslav Deviatko claimed this as Ukrainian News reported.

During the session on July 17, the conflict appeared between the court and the lawyers of Yanukovych as the defense of the ex-president demanded to urgently question three new witnesses, ex-security guards of Yanukovych via the video-conference from Crimea annexed by Russia.
