The Israeli authorities can speed up the process of the deportation of the asylum seekers from Ukraine because Ukraine got the status of the safe country as DW reported.
‘The number of the requests for the getting of the refugee status significantly increased in Israel and recently it reached 15 000 of people. The number of such application from the Ukrainians was 7 000 only since the beginning of 2017. Earlier the check of every application could take a few years but now it will take about a week to check the application due to the status of the safe country. Consequently, it will take less time to deport persons to Ukraine who were rejected from the provision of the refugee status’, the message said.
