The reason for the mass poisoning in the occupied Makiyivka could be the disinfection of drinking water with the Mangan – instead of chlorine. Pavlo Lysiansky, the representative of Ukrainian ombudsman in Donetsk and Luhansk regions reported this on Facebook.
‘They ran out of chlorine, so the water was partially disinfected with the Manganese… This is the reason for this horrible event’, Lysiansky claimed.
