Since early hours of June 27, the illegal armed units of Russia-backed separatists fired at Ukrainian military emplacements nine times. Colonel Oleksandr Motuzyanyk, the spokesman of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine said this at a briefing in Kyiv.
According to him, the enemy fired 22 mines on Ukrainian positions in Luhansk region. Militants also used small arms and heavy machineguns when firing at the defenders of Vodyane, Lebedynske, Mariinka, Novomykhailivka and Shyrokyne.
