On April 10, the operation ‘Border-2018’ began Ukraine under the auspices of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, its press service reported.
The operation aims to decrease illegal activity at Ukraine’s border, particularly the smuggling of the excisable goods, drugs and arms and illegal migration. Also, despite the border guards, the departments of the related structures, Armed Forces of Ukraine, border guards of the neighboring countries and the international organizations such as FRONTEX, EUBAM, INTERPOL и EUROPOL will participate in the operation.
