Prosecutor’s office in Poltava region opened a criminal proceeding against the decision of the Kyiv District Court of Poltava, which decided to dismiss the criminal case against the Mayor of Kharkiv Hennadiy Kernes, and his guards Vitaly Blinnik and Yevhen Smitsky. Anzhela Stryzhevska, Deputy of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine claimed this at a briefing, 112 Ukraine reports.

‘Information on the judge’s deliberately making an unjust decision are included in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations in Ukraine. It was conducted by the Prosecutor’s office in Poltava, and the Prosecutor General’s office will include such information to the unified register. The organization, holding of the pre-trial investigation will be requested to the relevant body of pre-trial investigation,’ she said.
