You're reading: 112.ua: Rada adopts bill on security of monuments listed in UNESCO

The Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian Parliament, has adopted a bill № 1553 for protection of monuments of world cultural heritage listed in UNESCO. 232 People’s Deputies voted for the bill.

The concept ‘World Heritage Site’ is expected to be included in the legislation for identification of valuable objects. So, the whole world, not only Ukraine maintain them. According to amendment, there will be the so-called ‘buffer zone’ with signs on its lines.
