Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian parliament, will consider criminalization of illegal crossing of the Ukrainian border by Russians or other citizens acting in Russia’s interests.
The respective bill was submitted in the parliament by Ukrainian MPs Iryna Lutsenko and Artur Gerasymov. They offer detention and imprisonment up to eight years as a punishment for the perpetrators carrying no IDs or presenting IDs with fake information in them.
