Verkhovna Rada published in the Voice of Ukraine a decision condemning sentence of Moscow City Court in the case of Ukrainian journalist Roman Sushchenko imprisoned in Russia. The document came into force on June 7, on the day of its adoption.
By adopting the resolution, Ukrainian Parliament has condemned illegal verdict in the case of Roman Sushchenko and appealed to the parliaments of foreign states, parliamentary assemblies of international organizations, world leaders and the international community in this regard.
