The journalist Stanyslav Aseev (Stanyslav Vasin) is on the territory of occupied Donetsk where he was detained. The so-called “General Prosecutor’s Office of the DNR” is controlling the criminal case opened against him. This was stated in the letter of Russian Union of Journalists Secretary Timur Shafir to the Chairman of Ukraine’s National Union of Journalists Serhiy Tomilenko, according to the website of the latter.
